Had a very strange experience with Gemini on android auto yesterday. Gave it simple instruction 'navigate to home depot' and the reply was 'ok, navigating to the home depot in x, it the nearest location' The location was twice the distance to the nearest HD. Old assitent never made this mistake - not to mention the lie.

As one who went diy in your region - keep calling electricians, you'll eventually find one who'll do the job at a fair price. With micro-inverters, there's no power in the lines till you connect into the main panel & you can work that our with a licensed electrician.

Just to make sure I understand the recommendation: US based immigration attorney for a tourist visa? (I don't want to sponsor them and they have no intention of moving here - they just want to visit and see us & the kids).

hi Peter, thanks for doing this. My parents were rejected twice for B1/B2 visa (under section 214b I think) - both times before I was a LPR (I had valid visa). Recently the country of citizenship was announced to be joining VWP - as one of the question is "have you even been refused US visa", is it a lost battle for them?

While not an EV, but a hybrid - I'm the lucky owner of an affordable Ford Maverick little truck. From what I can tell, Ford makes a lot of sweet $$$ selling the F series trucks and does not really care about low margins.

Romanian residents & citizens. Even stranger is the fact that mom was rejected last year and the next person in the queue was a friend applying for the same visa and stating the same intention of visiting me - he was granted the visa.

Strange one: my parents tried to get visitors visa while I was on L visa and were denied (twice - in If it makes a difference), might they get better chances now that I have the green card?

P.S. it's strange for me because they are pretty well off but nothing got checked at the embassy. Reason stated was to see me & the family (2 nephews).
