>after being declared a ‘foreign agent’ and losing risk-averse advertisers, Meduza lives on direct contributions from readers.
A covert foreign agent, also known as a secret agent of a foreign government, may in some countries be presumed to be engaging in espionage. Some countries have formal procedures to legalize the activities of foreign agents acting overtly. An example is the 1938 United States law, the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), the governing statute of which contains a wide-ranging and detailed definition of "foreign agent."[1]
Looks like those stupid Russian barbarians are just silly copycats. They have simply stolen everything from their intelligent democratic predecessors.
Sure. As well as Snowden and Manning. And anybody else who disagrees with the official govt line. They all are Russian actors. That's how democracy works.
>Russia is a regime where reporting things that disagree with the official govt line is punishable by 15 years in prison.
Yes, sure, in a democratic country it's absolutely impossible that a person reporting things that disagree with the official govt line may spend even a single day in prison.
Ukraine crisis is only because of the swollen head of the Americans as they were expanding NATO ignoring earlier promises ..As the only super power, they underestimated the Russia..If we blame Putin, for this invasion, Americans should answer for invasions on Iraq, Sudan, Yeman, Afganistan and many others ...
After USSR was abolished, why NATO was not abolished ? The main aim of NATO is to demolish Russia and divide it in dozens of small countries depending on USA for their survival. Second aim is to control Europe by USA. There is not one single European country which can stand up to USA. Asia is divided because of China, the worse expansionist country the world has seen, Africa is busy in tribal wars, South America is kept poor by USA and indulge in overthrowing governments which are not lackeys of USA. UK, a Pakistani colony, is using Muslims in India for further partition, this time it is hijab insurgency. In 1947, it was Jinnah, this time it is Owaisi, an Iranian migrant. Wpnder when Hindus will wake up.
>Russia is outclassed by NATO both economically and militarily.
Especially now, after NATO's quick and easy victory in Afghanistan it's clearly seen that Russia is far behind NATO militarily. Putin is just stupid and suicidal.
Bangladesh is building a power plant now and seems to be getting more bang for their buck than South Carolina.
Construction began: 30 November 2017
Commission date: 2023
Construction cost: $12.65 billion
What today is considered nuclear waste will be fuel for generation IV reactors.
The main aspect of Gen IV is using closed fuel cycle for the reactor. This year Russia started building first test Gen IV reactor BREST-300. It is planned to be operational by 2029. I believe that most effective business plan of dumping today's nuclear waste is using it as fuel for Gen IV reactors.
> "just play a I V IV in C" and they get it. But we are still not quite at a place where we can tell a computer that exact phrase and get something useful.
We are at this place since at least 3 decades ago. How come you never heard about Band in a box? [0]
> I love how close these text-based languages are getting though!
Comparing to what BIAB can do now after 3 decades of development all these text-based languages are sooooo amateurish and ridiculous. They are not even reinventing the wheel. I'd say they're reinventing the circle.
