I do see a few posted here and there but I've never actually met anyone that is doing one or has completed one. They are fairly new so maybe that's why but it seems like people are talking about degree apprenticeships and no one actually knows what they are like or how to get into them. Specifically I'm looking for degree apprenticeships in embedded systems engineering. Thanks for the link, this is great.
This is awesome! The website screams claude to me. I'm not bashing it, in fact I think it's great. That was just my first thought when I opened the webpage. Good transition into the learning tool as well.
Take a step back for a second, take a deep breath, and think about where you want to be in 5 years. Make a list of things you want and where you want to be. Include at least 10 items on that list. Do actual research into what it will take to achieve those goals. Pick your top 3 and act on them today, right now. I can't tell you if you should go to college, I don't know you. I can tell you there are a lot of resources out there for software engineers that didn't go to college. If you have skills then you can build a portfolio and start applying.
