Looks very powerful. Would you consider other interfaces apart from a table? I would love to use this with something that looked like Notion.

Intersect.com will invest $10k USD in 10-20 startups in Q1 2025 for startups that are outside of Silicon Valley and want to relocate to Silicon Valley.

The $10k investment will be via a post-money SAFE at a $1-5M valuation with pro-rata rights.

The requirements for the startup are:

1. The startup must have raised a minimum of $50K USD (50% can be founders capital)

2. At least one of the startup’s founders relocates to Silicon Valley for a minimum of 1 month in April 2025 and all founders have plans to be based here in the long-term.

3. The startup is currently based outside of Silicon Valley

4. Are a US based entity (Delaware C-Corp preferred)

What you get:

1. February 2025 - 8 week program to help you prepare your startup for relocation to Silicon Valley

2. April 2025 - relocate to Silicon Valley for a minimum of 4 weeks during which Intersect will help you raise a pre-seed round, find customers and release your product.

3. We are partnering with accommodation providers and co-working spaces to get you affordable options for living here for a month - but there are no obligations to use these options.

4. There are no obligations to use any Intersect services or products

Please comment below your one-liner and I will reach out to you with more information. If you know a startup that might be a good fit, please tag them below.

We are doing this because:

1. Getting a startups off the ground is really hard and its a problem I have faced many times

2. It's just a good investment opportunity for the arbitrage between startups outside of Silicon valley and those in Silicon valley

3. Intersect might get some customers out of the program but that isn’t the primary driver

Intersect is working with a few talented designers to do a free design review of your site for free.

We'll record and share a video looking at your page and suggest improvements. The only caveat is that we will post the feedback in the comments as well.

Please comment your URL if you would like a design review.

This is day 23 of building Intersect

P.S. Intersect will be releasing its new site built from the ground up in the next 2 weeks (think Apple).

Today is a triple launch – firstly we are excited to launch Intersect with the goal of helping technology startups solve their most challenging technical problems.

This is no easy feat. Solving technical problems at scale is incredibly complex.

So, how do we do this?

Two phases:

1. Build core software and infrastructure solutions for startups to solve their most challenging technical problems - giving the startup a perpetual license to the IP, and retaining the IP for future projects.

2. Apply our repository of software to similar problems startups face. Over time, this allows us to be the fastest option for startups looking to solve challenging technical problems.

In other words, we use Palantir-like services to build a core suite of core software products that can be reused across projects.

This allows us to be faster, cheaper, and higher quality.

The number one question we get is would a startup be comfortable allowing Intersect to own part of the IP developed during a project - and our answer is that most technology companies don’t mind that they don’t own the IP for their database, web framework, or payments infrastructure for example - and there are many core components in the same bucket.

Intersect's long-term goal is to be the number one place founders turn to build out core software and infrastructure. We want to be a software and infrastructure layer that powers the next generation of tech.

Our first products are a full text search that is 200x faster than Postgres, the lowest latency sync system available, and a video-conferencing platform.

If you are a startup with a tough engineering problem - please reach out.

Secondly, we are announcing our purchase of the domain intersect.com but holding off on the details of the acquisition for the time being.

Thirdly, we are launching a community for engineers and founders solving hard engineering problems in the SF Bay Area: https://www.intersect.com/community
