Calling something 'pseudo-intellectual' or 'paranoia' say absolutely nothing about the statement. It says that you are not able to form clear arguments and instead resort to negative labels.

Oh, you liberals. You hide behind democracy when, in fact, you are a bunch of tyrants who would like to jam your ideas of immigration, multiculturalism, socialism etc. down the people's throats whether they like it or not.

Why are you labeling direct democratic decision by majority of people as bad/downside? It seems that when people do something you like, then democracy is great, but if they do something you disagree with, then it's bad.

Limits vary based on your bank, card type (debit vs credit), account type (personal vs. business) and what you're doing with the money (withdrawing cash vs. spending online). You can also ask to increase the limit. People can also get multiple cards and use them for online payments.

If you have items with high prices, just send users a quick notification to check whether their cards have a limit and to ask their bank to lift it.

I have stopped using Facebook (Twitter and everything social) half a decade ago. I don't use messaging apps and turn on my phone only when I really need to.

Result: more free time to do interesting and productive things and people aren't bothering me as much. I have taken control of my life and I'm not being pushed around to do things based on notifications or desire for artificial status(likes, retweet, stars). Stop using these services that sell your privacy, control your communication, make hostile changes and in the end do not care about you.

ACH is cheaper than cards, but it's also slower and has a limit of $10,000 per transaction [1]. Cards have a limit of $1 million per transaction [2], which is 100x bigger than ACH. Also, people are used to paying with cards.

They got there by people telling everyone around them to join (same with WhatsApp, Snapchat etc.). Company just keepes the sites/apps running, but when it comes to building network effects - that is something people do themselves.

This is cargo-culting. Do you really think FB's success is due to frequent lockdowns? They are successful because they've got network effects, people are used to using their site/app and there is no incentive for people to switch - it's already free, you can't go lower than that.
