Hi, I have ordered in the past from JLC3dp[1] both metal printed parts and aluminum anodized CNC machined parts. I was happy with the quality and the pricing was a lot better than my local CNC companies.

Start from investing every month set amount of money into ETFs.

As you are from Europe, one of the best to start, would be Vanguard FTSE All-World ETF, or in short WVCE. I am mostly investing into it for my retirement.

If you want to feel the market more, you can buy some individual stocks, starting from blue chip ones, or if you want to gamble a bit more, you can take a look at crypto or small cap stocks.

As for platforms/brokers, there are couple of most popular in Europe: Degiro or IBKR. I myself use IBKR for stocks and ETFs.

I would pick AMD Ryzen CPU and any Nvidia GPU with more ram.

If budget allows, I would pick RTX3090, if budget is too tight, look at RTX3080 or RTX3080Ti 12 Gb vram models. 10 gb vram models can be too small in the future or if you plan to use it for image processing.

I also am working mainly with image processing and segmentation, we mainly use RTX3080 and RTX3080Ti GPUs.

It should also be cheaper to pick components and build PC yourself.

Have you thought about using Paddle? It takes both PayPal and CC. Also takes care of the taxes.

P.S. Could you tell me more about your trading startup? Any links to check out?

Love the idea! Would love to try it out, but it seems it is not available in Europe.

Is there any plans in the near future to open in other regions?

Hi,

I also live in Europe. Here some quick suggestions from person who is quite interested in trading and investing:

1. Save few months of cash reserves to have freedom if things goes south.

2. Start reading about investing and ETFs and Indexes.

3. Start invest in small sums in ETFs and or Bonds. There are two ways:

3.1. If you want to transfer and forget, you can try some of the RoboAdvisors, which will buy ETFs/Bonds for you with assigned percentage. I personally use ETFMatic [1] for couple of years without any issues.

3.2. If you want to buy ETFs by yourself, you can open brokerage account. As I read that you are from Europe, we mostly use Degiro [2] or IBKR [3] here. I use IBKR personally. You will be safer with ETFs, rather than single stocks. One of the recommended ETFs, would be VWCE, which Tin short - tracks World economy. As my colleagues say, VWCE and Chill.

4. Try to avoid single stocks, crypto and investment gurus and get rich quick schemes.

5. Happy and safe investing!

You can find more information about European ETFs on justetf.com [4]

One of the first projects I would start is look for Arduino related projects and other small hardware projects. Its best for cheap and simple electronics understanding. Learn how to use different sensors, modules or controllers.

After some time, you can take a look at more serious projects, such as robot-spiders, or robots manipulators.

Might you also be interested in buying cheap 3D printer, to make the parts such as gears or cases for your hardware projects.

After you are quite comfortable with electronics and hardware, you can make your own 3D printed robot, such as CM6 - Compliant 3D printed robotic arm [1] or WE-R2.4 Six-Axis Robot Arm [2].

Happy building!

You said you spend leftover money on advertising. Could you tell us a bit more about it? What methods are you using to promote it?

Mine broke same as yours. I was in a bath and the face fell off. Drying did not help. I had it over 2 years. RIP Amazfit.

I was quite a fan of Pebble, but was not able to get it when it launched.

I had Amazfit Bip for multiple years until it finally broke.

After trying Android Wear, battery life if very bad, I am looking for alternatives.

Is there any modern alternative to Pebble with all basic functions, such as eink display, battery life, notifications or call muting, but it also could reply to messages/notifications?

As it is sad news for those who have been impacted, severance packages seems quite generous, with 14 weeks of pay and vesting acceleration.

I have played a multiple times with a PSVR1, and in my opinion, it was one of the best optimized VR systems I have tried. Everything felt smooth, fully optimized, did not feel dizzy. The low resolution was the problem for me, I really loved it. Now waiting to test out PSVR2 when it launches.
