Banks often use their app for a second factor auth. here.

My first bike bought with my first salaries (about 2-3 months) just turned 20 years old. It's a basic aluminum hardtail MTB. Still going strong - I do about 2-3k kms per year.

I haven't heard of this app before, so I looked around their site and docs. I was mildly interested in trying it out until I saw the requirements: "A system with at least 4GB of RAM and 2 CPU cores.", but recommended 6 GB of RAM. Why does an image storage solution needs so much RAM?

If I have a choice between two apps that do the same thing and are roughly equal on features, I usually go with the non-Electron one. In this case I use the Wacup music player.

I am honestly surprised how many people here think this is a bad idea. I wonder why is that.

No, in your example this will be a reduction of the price.

Well, we don't have FSD in Europe, and in US, I guess the children don't walk to school.

Because in a case of monopoly, the people can not vote with their wallet.

Of course. There are three NATO nations and Georgia on the Black Sea, and there is no war in their waters. The Black Sea is not very productive fish-wise, but this is another topic.

I have replayed Fallout 2 like 20 times.

I checked your claim about the steam charts. Currently the 30-Day Avg for Fallout 2 is 159 and for Fallout 3 - 376 players. I wouldn't call this a huge win. F2 is much older and the graphics are not aging well.

I read last week that about 40% of the electric cars produced now are with LFP batteries.

It looks like a bunch of links. It will be more helpful if some comparison is provided. Otherwise I can just google for alternatives.

Why do you think so? I have 10+ years old Java/Maven projects that build and run fine.

> The trajectory for Firefox doesn’t look good at all (and it’s completely dependent on Google too).

Can you elaborate on this? I am using Firefox since it was released, and it is getting better, not worse.

Taxing monopolies at a higher rate. Not a bad idea actually.

This looks cool and hackable. I wonder though how much control over the pressure you can get with a vibratory pump.

In Eastern Europe there are a few places that an emulated Tesla server software is being run. And you can buy a car, say from US, and they will patch (hack?) it to use their server. I don't know how good it is feature wise, but it is good enough that the cars drive around.

So to your point - you can probably use a car after the manufacturer is gone or stops supporting a vehicle. But this comes with a risk of trusting these not very legal enterprises.
