List of truisms you believe and thus want to downvote me:
0) ISPs charge both ends
1) ISPs intentionally make your tube, flix, etc experience miserable
3) Everything should be 'unlimited'
4) Bandwidth is basically free
More interesting that that mostly childless politicians are in favor of such things. That's makes sense since those legislations are NOT about children.
Surely that not the case. Check any public BGP looking glass: Arelion/Telia uses RIPE space in the USA, Lumen/Level uses APNIC space in Europe and so on.
> If one has ever tried to announce an ARIN IP in the EU or a RIPE IP in the US they will send warnings that the allocations will be pulled back if that is not fixed.
"The Court replied that it is irrelevant whether or not the broadcasting of the prohibited content takes place in the
course of an economic activity. The concept of ‘operator’ covers, in the present context, any person responsible, directly
or indirectly, for making the prohibited content available, including in the context of a non-remunerated activity or in the
operation of a website financed by voluntary contributions from third parties. The Court also clarifies that that classification
depends neither on the extent nor on the duration of the broadcasting

If Facebook propaganda is so effective (and cheap) Western democracies should promote democratic values in Belarus/Kazakhstan.
Canada should use this channel to promote tariff cancellation in the USA.
I doubt that Facebook is efficient on important matter.
If I'm wrong then Canadian government is doing very bad job in promoting democratic values in and outside Canada.
