Please do find me hundred of studies to support objects on earth falling upwards... newton's gravity is pretty well established within the context it applies to... so in no way can science be compared to religion.
There is well established science and science-in-development, which can turn out to be wrong when new evidence is discovered. But for religion there is NO such gradient - everything is based on faith, evidence does not even come into play...
Not my field of expertise but on page 15 they claim " In our reconstruction analysis, we used a pre-trained DGN which was provided by Dosovitskiy & Brox"
So if the deep dream generator is not trained on their actual (limited) training data but instead on a massive dataset of 'all photos that are real", I would say the study is valid.
A company doing X has as its main goal not being good at doing X, but making profit.
This is the essence, and reason why companies need a hierarchy of managers: the owners are at the top, their instructions (make us profit) are delegated down, then profit goes back up. The people in charge are not there because they are experts at doing X. They are there because they are experts at making sure profits go to the top.
All bullsh*t jobs and most inefficiencies can be traced back to people not caring enough about doing X. Because that is not what the company is about, its about making profit.
Economic freedom only starts at middle class and above. (Like when your family can risk $300.000 for your online book store)
For the poor, you are free to choose your boss (and agree to obey thus sign away your freedom) or sink deeper into poverty and eventually starve to death...
Though there is no gun involved, I would not call this freedom.
But a kind of freedom which (thankfully) still exists is the freedom to reach out to others. So why would you oppose people that use their freedom to push back against obvious mistreatment (in this case by spreading the word)?
Income inequality?
Does risk of dying on the job count as something worth higher pay?
If so, then I think you should reconsider the mantra of "wage gap".
Note: this is just the first hit on google, I'm a bit reluctant to write down an entire arguement here because you have very like already made up your mind...
