One of the big thing that triggered the EU debate os the inability to expel Abu Al I dont know what, famous pro-Al Qaida preacher that could not be expelled because of EU laws, and bragged about being housed by the UK taxpayer while preaching Jihad quietly.

« my children and wife started to experience a level of racially motivated abuse that we had not seen before.«

To which both people replied saying « same for us ».

You’re welcome.

Well couldn’t that be the result of the remainers doing Godwin points and trying to force the narrative that Brexit vote was racist?

By « racist abuses », i guess you meant the simple fact of being asked what your accent is ?! (Cf. Previous posts)

I live in the Uk, i’m not British, and speak with a foreign accent. I was extremely surprised to see people complain of the « racist abuses »... until i read those few posts explaining that the « racists abuses » in question were the mere fact of being asked « what’s your accent ».

Ok, if being asked what your accent is, is a « racial abuse », then yes, i guess i am a victim and should whine and maybe ask for money? Stop being snowflakes.

Immigration was not the main reason of voting Brexit. UKIP is not 51% of the UK electorate. I am surprised to see that, years after that vote, there are still gross misinformation circulating around it.

The great thing with the “European money”, is that you send 100 every year, it sends you 50 or 60 back( if you’re one of the top contributors like the UK, France or Germany), tells you how to use it, and you are supposed to say “thanks” and put up big signs saying “the EU paid for this”.

Not UK’s fault if whatever the EU does ends up a mess, whether trying to name a corridor in a Brussels building, or trying to have The European GPS up and running.

Normal, with 27 participants all responding to different national and political interests. Try having a flatshare with 27 families and agreeing on how to paint the wall.

Check out a guy called Laval in france, leader of collaboration, with his famous speech “i wish germany’s victory”.

First national exhibition hosted by the Vichy government during occupation: “la France europeenne”. Showing maps of future europe, where nation-states would have disappeared.

French far-right at the time was also calling England, “the enemy of europe”, for instance on a book from M. Déat, another politica leader from the 40s.

Not really... take a look at the average salary in Romania and compare to France of Luxembourg ...

True, but there have been many attempts to create Europe in the past, the 3rd Reich being one of them, Napoleon, and others before. Europhiles dont like that reminder but people at the time used the same rethoric of “building the great Europe”, “nations are too old etc”, I can give you references of actual political figures of the 30s and 40s who had that speech and led their country to collaboration with the nazis in the name of “Europe”.

India and USA are often cites as examples of federations than EU should look to implement but that comparison is not valid.

The US were a blank page, with roughly the same crowd starting with the same common goal and aspirations. Europe comes with 15centuries of nationlike structures and history. Latin and AngloSaxons have very different approaches on life and work (particularly visible in the “PIGS” recent controversy...).

As someone said, you cant make the european omelette with nations hard boiled eggs.

The mere facts that the euro bank notes has zero european symbol (because they couldnt find one) speaks for itself. So they put bridges and windows... India has Gandhi.

So if the concept of nation is ancient why do you want to create an EU... nation ????

CyberCHEF is another great tool coming from a “spying” agency. I dont see how GCHQ could really benefit from it as there is even a local version for those who would want to keep their data from going over the wire.
