Think it's a clever solution to a very serious problem, but I'd love to see what research supports robots having these creepy humanoid appearances and why robotics teams take that approach, particularly for assistance robots. Personally, I'd be much happier if my support robot looked like a cute, Wall-e type humanoid robot, but maybe that type of appearance would shatter the illusion, or older folks wouldn't want to interact?
