My Android phone camera can scan QR codes but it's horribly slow to start up and doe only shows a truncated URL, so you don't know where the link takes you.

There are apps which check the URL but they are also bloated and slow. I only need a scanner which checks the URL and saves my history so I made this for myself.

Pretty fun. Suggestion to increase the timer with each successful submission as a reward. Also, when the player highlights all tiles on the board the game becomes a dead end and must be restarted.

Hi all, not sure how many soccer (football) fans we have here. I made a little game where you link one player to another in the least connections possible.

For example, here is Ronaldo to Oscar Gonzalez. You can try to do better by clicking the challenge link.

Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro - >3 Óscar González Granado

Time: 1:15

Love it! As many pointed out, playability is quite dependent on where you live. Perhaps you could also use landmarks rather than streets, but I'm guessing OpenStreetMap POI data is not as robust as Google Maps... And Google Maps Places API is expensive :)

Guess there's an API for everything

Nice and simple. Kind of reminds me of sheet2site.com which coverts a Google sheet template to a website.

Thanks for the support. Yup someone else pointed that out too. It's because The Onion where I get 'fake' headlines from have some articles where the headline is true but the text is satire. Need to find a way to categorize those properly.

Good suggestion will take a look. On first glance it doesn't appear in the url which is what I'm getting from the Reddit api. Will have to think of some other way.

Thanks for trying. You have a good point, those were true headlines but with satire text. Got to find a way to filter those out... Unfortunately they don't seem to belong to a fixed section which I can parse.

Yeah I went with the design choice to show the results at the end. In the app version (link on the main page) it shows the result after each selection because the game ends when you make a wrong choice.

Thanks for trying. Yup some headlines are stranger than fiction.

Hi all, I created a little web game while learning Angular.

The objective is to guess the real headline over 5 rounds.

Players can also challenge their friends by sharing a unique link of the same headlines.

Have fun and post your scores :)
