I laughed at the animation quite hard - it’s the perfect analogy for the issue at hand!

I place it in the category of “cringe humor,” and by that standard it’s more cringey than Seinfeld and curb - especially because of the first person shots. It is a great show! Well worth a watch.

I’m doing math academy and I have two comments. First, the value of this site comes from its content which is very thorough. I think it’s a great way to learn math.

Second - I love the website. It reminds me of what I think of as the golden age of web design where sites were mostly server side rendered with a little jquery / Ajax sprinkled in, and more information density was preferred.

I’m concerned about how secure this will be. What happens, for example, if you experience a sim swap attack?

How will apple protect all of your password data in this case?

Will the setup allow for an additional password to prevent hackers from gaining access?

I’m confused. Does this math check out?

Circumference is 24,901 - so about 1000 mph at equator.

1000 mph / 3600 s / h = 0.27 mps

0.27 * (1/250) = 0.001 miles?

Doing this math on my phone but am I missing something here?

I made something similar a few years ago (https://github.com/danielecook/upvote.pub) and it even hit the front of HN...but couldn't get enough traction. I hope yours sees more success.
