mental health is definitely related to physical health. although it might not _cure_ your problems, the pros of being healthy vs the cons of a sedentary / not physically active lifestyle by itself outwieghs the other.

I don't think it's a meme, it's just that people seem to be realising it's beneficial as of late

I've always had bad social anxiety (and depression) I've always thought of it like this too.

to constantly think about how other percieve me or how they react must be because of some sort of extreme self obsession right?

I don't care what people think of me and I've strayed far off a typical life path but idk how else to explain my social anxiety

why is it comical though? that man achieved a lot in his life and died on his own terms

afaik if a doctor fucks up his rights to practice medicine are taken away by a board of (probably) doctors after a examination of the case. Although this sounds all well and good, I've read countless accounts of this not happening as much as it should be happening, almost similar to the police not taking action on their own officials who go bad, corruption runs deep in our systems and imo our psyche

I think a top down approach to enforce anything at scale is never gonna work until people decide to respect their place in the world and do the due diligence from bottom up

I don't think it's pedantic at all. I think we misplace the importance of how we communicate with each other and how we use our already limited languages (I mean, it's hard enough to communicate an idea in its purest form despite being articulate, the internet makes it harder, and not being concious about what you're saying just adds to the problems in the world imo)

this makes sense to me too.

it's easier to sell whatever you're trying to sell if it's of high quality

that's a good argument but there are so many things that macOS can't do that windows can (legacy support, endless tinkering with relative ease. maybe more things but i think these two things encompass a lot more and are the main reasons holding windows back from being the same as the oh so esteemed macOS)

right? sure there are a lot of buggy slow electron apps but isn't vscode built on electron too? that's the smoothest program on my pc right now

I'm so sick of people making Blog posts/articles just for the sake of it or with some alternate motive like promoting something they're working on or trying to sell.

almost everything I read is of similar nature, it's getting quite exhaustive
dlvktrsh

that's what half the blog posts are anyways a shallow attempt to promote something
dlvktrsh

it's hard to believe there are people trying to justify otherwise too

that's thoughtful! I'm gonna do it too. maybe you can find an appropriate feedback section somewhere too, but who knows how useful that is
