There are pockets of it everywhere. There's a filthy bodega in uptown Manhattan with expired produce on the shelves, but there's a Bitcoin ATM and young kids hang out there and barter stolen Uber accounts for Bitcoin.
Trello will never hold a candle to Jira for users with complex needs. Trello is deliberately simple while Jira is deliberately complex. Also the screenshots comparing a Sprint board to a Kanban board is like comparing apples and oranges.
It's not a big mystery. They ask for higher salaries, because that's what they are used to and end up getting paid more. It's not because their skills are more valued.
