I diddn't assume causation was implied. Your interpreter reads "." with a value of " because" while mine read "." with a value of " however". If we assume a single meaning value of "." then our two different outcomes (because, however) are mutually exclusive. They are not, however, collectively exhaustive. It may have been interpreted litaraly, as punctuation without prusumption of exclusitivity.

>Whereas a blood alcohol concentration of 0.08% (the legal limit in most states) might result in a concentration of 208 ppm of ethanol in the breath, a similarly impairing dose of cannabis results in 0.00001 ppm of the drug in breath.

Hi, I'm just curious if you have any reference to help elaborate on the similarities of imparment as it relates to negative impact on a persons abilities (especially those known to have significant impact driving preformance)?

Is there any studied or understood similarity between the level of driving imparment when breath samples measure 208 ppm ethanol vs 0.00001 ppm cannabinoids (you may have mean just THC here but it's not clear to me)?

If there is a similar increase in the likelyhood of a fatal accident when breath measures 208 ppm ethanol vs 0.00001 ppm of the devil's lettuce I'll eat my shoe!

I don't mean to dismiss any potential impact of cannabis consumption on the likelyhood of fatal accidents or injuries but I do believe the impact is often greatly misrepresented when compared to alcohol consumption.

Thanks for posting this! I've always wanted to build an audible ad-blocker that can mute/replace the audio and analyzing a background/silent feed to restore volume. Unfortunately all product paths I can forsee will surely lead to targeted replacement ads, played at higher volume

I don't think it's arbitrary. You're paying for the (vehicle, driver) time and distance and the closer your are to vehicle the shorter the trip. If the vehicle is far enough away to make it vary greatly just cancel. The seemingly arbitrary charges and price volatility are not supposed to start until after you're in the vehicle. This may just be a bug.

IIRC the temperature of the H2O doesn't change until the bonds have changed. There is a state of constant temperature during this phase change, often referred to as a temperature plateau. Therefore it melts @ 32F (assuming 1 atmosphere of pressure) after that the temperature of the liquid water will rise, but not until it has already melted.
