Had a look. "Professional" is doing a lot of work here.

I think it's Beagle Basic, too: http://www.apple-iigs.info/doc/fichiers/BeagleBasic.pdf

Or you could use Istota (https://istota.xyz) with Nextcloud Talk and get an already existing OSS Slack alternative with a capable Claude Code wrapper, group chat support, and everything else?

Yeah this is a gem of a show worth a rewatch every few years. Especially once it finds its legs after S1. Criminally underrated.

For sure! I just meant that when it came out it was revolutionary and cutting edge, if you play it for the first time now you have to get past the outdated graphics and clunky gameplay to really appreciate it.

Story, dialogue, theme-wise hasn't aged a bit.

It is the best PC game ever made, but I don't think it hits the same in 2025... one of those things where you had to be there.

It's true, Warren Spector won PC gaming and it's just been downhill with snazzier graphics since.

In a world awash in generative nonsense, rebuilding Arial from scratch based on screenshots specifically for Are.na is the flex we deserve and I'm here for it

Looks to be down globally... another friendly reminder of our overdependence on a few services (and how many servers are configured to use 1.1.1.1 for DNS queries?)

It really hasn't though, doesn't even have multiple time zone support for events. They really need to fix that.

Aesthetically perfect, great job.

The director mentioned it in an email I got, apparently Camus is also a character in the film.

Easter egg: if you type 'camus' in the character selection screen you can play as Albert Camus in Algiers circa 1937, having premonitions about being a character in a text-based adventure game in the distant future.

We had amber screens in our school computer lab in Poland in the early 90s where I discovered gaming, so the look is seared into my brain.
