This is a fantastic resource. Not just for illegal purposes either. There is plenty of free stuff that is legal here.

It's easy to remember the URL too.

I tried to play this game once and sucked at it. There are people out there who are legitimately good at this, and that's awesome to see for an open source game

I'm using Stremio + Torrentio + Real-Debrid now that I have money to actually pay for it.

I'm sure that's a good sign of where Microsoft is going, but I'm not an expert in the stock market so I wouldn't know.

Neurodivergent here: will definitely check this out. I always love seeing new focus tools

I mean, Wayland works fine for me. I'm using niri and an nvidia card.

I don't like to assume the worst of people, but the fact this website lists its own browser as the #1 AI browser makes me wonder if this is just an advertisement disguised as a list of AI browsers.

You didn't dispute the AI thing though.

This happens with spice too. You develop a tolerance to it. I don't think this is abnormal, and the specific mention of MSG as opposed to just umami in general makes me think this is more MSG fearmongering.

So I was curious about the privacy implications of this, so I scrolled down to the bottom of the webpage to see if there was a Privacy Policy.

As I feared, there isn't.

The notion of giving a company I have never heard of my email address and phone number to do who knows what with it, that's a bit scary.

I know that the social media websites I use will sell my data and how they will. They have privacy policies that detail that. But this doesn't, and until it does, I strongly recommend that people refrain from using it.

Yeah, the NSDAP lied. There's a difference between what the Nazis said they'd do economically and what they actually did economically.

Speaking as a Jew myself, there's nothing I've seen to suggest that the Mayor-elects of NYC and Seattle are Nazis beyond ahistorical stuff like this

How exactly is this appropriate for this website?

You'll never find me saying that Wayland development is good in its present state. I think it's a mess and it has a lot of issues.

But let's be honest about Xorg. The overwhelming majority of people who worked on Xorg are now developing Wayland. Why? Because developing Xorg is a massive pain in the butt. It is a 400K LOC behemoth of a project and it has a ridiculous amount of technical debt. I would have to imagine that if the Xorg developers thought they could fix Xorg, they would do that instead of making a new thing.

Man, rich people can just do literally anything, can't they?

I think we're overlooking the fact that this person was cleaning his shotgun while it was loaded. I hope this guy gets better and that he's learned a lesson from this. If you're going to do anything with your gun that doesn't involve shooting it, make sure it isn't loaded.

The article mentions masking's psychological effects a lot, and it's spot on. I masked for most of my life before I was diagnosed with autism in my senior year of high school. I was later diagnosed with C-PTSD because having my feelings invalidated on the grounds that I only had ADHD and should've been able to function fine, it was traumatizing.

The problem with training LLMs on internet data is that the data on the internet is finite. I had a strong feeling development would slow down eventually and it looks like that's happening.
