I'd generally agree, but it definitely depends on how the device is being used.

My VR headsets don't see much usage outside of simracing which I'd consider a hobby more than just gaming. So my point is that, "working" might present that same routine which demos/gaming/facehugger yt with low return on novelty.

Wild.

My Yamaha(motorcycle, 12k usd) recently had an RMA due to potential water issues. Yamaha fixed the potential problem, and would have resolved any further issues from the root cause of water/corrosion.

This only concretes my lack of interest in Tesla.

FFMPEG and Elemental are the two which I've seen at scale.

Source is not always the same, but does often go through a Mac. Not an Apple employee, but I've heard the reason they make the 5k display is to account for 4k fullscreen + toolbar.

Focus on pro consumer features by adding more features to create an updated release for which people want to stay current.

And make them recrack the latest version by changing the function which accepts serials, etc.

Note: As others have mentioned, it's going to be tough to win the arms race against someone with defeating your checks. So drive consumers to want the real thing by providing a value add.

As a person leader, I typically followed a pattern which I think I found here.

Ask them how they're doing. Ask them if they have any blockers. Ask them if how I can help them with any of their blockers. Ask them what has been done on the blockers since last meeting (if they're holdover).

Seemed to be a reliable pattern for myself at least.

My take is that it's another tool such as a search engine. Usually we have things such as citations pointing to where data came from as data sourcing is part of the activities included in homework.

Additionally, we often test "offline" with constraints such as no calculator, open book, or closed book with notes, etc. So more regular knowledge checks seem to be a must if we're looking to verify foundational understandings.
