There have been KA video apps for iPhone for quite a long while now, I was expecting that the official one would have the exercise dashboard and practice problems. Hopefully this will ship in future versions. Thanks KA team.
libGDX[1][2] (it's not an engine) is a great cross-platform Java library that allows you target the desktop (Win/Mac/Linux/etc), Android, HTML5 (through GWT), and now iOS all with the same codebase, built on standards like OpenGL ES/WebGL.
Mario Zechner (the main guy behind libGDX) wrote an excellent book[3] last year on Android gamedev that has you start from the basics up to creating your own game engine and games.
I am actually from Ethiopia, and from what my parents who were raised there tell me, the education was in Amharic so they learned to read/speak it early on, alongside their morhertongue Somali. Of course ethnic groups tend to use their language first and Amharic for more official matters. So I don't really see what the problem with using Amharic and English is. You're reaching more kids and like another poster said, there's more resources and apps available in Amharic than Afaan Oromo.
Are these COCOM limitations based in the hardware or software of the GPS devices by the manufacturers? If it's in the software, are there not free and opensource firmwares out there that can go around such limitations?
Are the wiring rates low, relative to other countries around Germany or otherwise? How are wire rates for wiring money from say the UK? Who are the primary wire transfer companies in use in Germany?
