You should be using stacking software anyway. It's a complete non issue.

I'm in northern Wisconsin right now and the sky looks fucking amazing. Stop being so dramatic.

He's 72 years old, I'm sure he has the best brains and everyone's best interests in mind. This is exactly what I want to see. I'm sure he will have very good opinions on technology and it's implications.

Cars are leaky as fuck. They are more leaky than your house. There is 0 potential of CO2 buildup that is anything remotely close to being harmful.

I get the impression he's not saying all sim games, but "drive the vehicle" sims in general. I have to agree. There's just nothing engaging about it imo.

A - masks don't protect you, they protect others, B - what % of the population leaves the house when they feel sick enough that they should wear a mask?

Cars aren't hermetically sealed vessel. This is hilarious.

Not really, at least not in this discussion. An assembly programmer gets logic gates, a C programmer gets assembly, etc etc. And each one can say to the one above "well you don't really get it if you can't bang out some meaningful work". Otherwise idk what we're even talking about here. Having a vague understanding of something isn't "knowing how it works".

What's absurd is thinking because you took a logic class and made a flip flop 30 years ago that that is the ground floor and that it means you "understand how it all works". You're not building a CPU from logic gates and you don't know how it works. If I put you or OP in a room for a year I highly doubt you could build an 8 bit Atari-like CPU from scratch. I worked with wires and logic too but I'm not arrogant enough to say that I know how it all works.

Used to use this to great effect for capture the flag when I was a kid. We used to do it across the whole neighborhood. We realized that standing in shadows cast near street lights were excellent places to just stand and watch the other team. The bright light makes your eyes adjust and the shadows from nearby tree trunks become black voids.

I think the heat differentials and particulates would still make city astrophotography pretty sub par.

Do you really think that's the only way to do it? I spend hours refining the output, slicing things up, redoing certain parts, tossing it into the DAW and compressing, adding effects, etc. I mean, if you think one shot prompts are the only way to use AI to make music fine, but you're being intentionally obtuse.

I'm not sure I've even been to a Mexican restaurant that didn't have lengua, and I'm in the Midwest.

Yep, can't wait until everything is free and costs nothing to generate content. Free hosting and electricity will be super sweet too. Won't need admins or even the Internet. Everything I want will just be free for me because I don't think anything has value.

No one is doing 16 step exploits unless you're a huge target in some way. 0.0000001% of companies fit that bill. And even then, ok, what did they get? An account login? What are they doing to do? Read email? Then what? "Use it for social engineering"? Who cares, you have MFA right? You have a firewall? You don't allow people to randomly jump from box to box via RDP? You have basic security and auditing on your fileshares? EVEN THEN, what, they get a spreadsheet from your last town hall meeting? I'm also tired of pretending that 99.999% of the data in a company even matters. Unless they have some way to cryptolock your whole company, AND you don't have backups/snapshots without any basic access security, there isn't a lot of value to be taken. Security "teams" are a bunch of fucking busybodies with nothing to do. Pay for a competent admin team and the security dept is completely redundant and useless.
