Most of the Ost bloc countries like Brits more than the germans or french.
UK could have benefited from investing more to the Ost bloc and forming new partnerships. Instead they let the Germans to enslave the Ost bloc economically and politically.
My advise would be to stop applying the soviet mentality to these things. Really sometimes it's not about the price but convenience. This is something that people in your and mine country fail to understand.
Market leaders ? not really. They beat the competition with the oldest trick. They offered a good enough product for the cheapest price (ehm ehm for free).
I do not think these products should be free or offered at the expense of my privacy. Sadly most of the people do not feel that way.
Google is in many ways a cancer on the market (anyways most of the big companies that do it the same are like that).
I live in a country which has a strict gun control on its civilians (even if you acquire a license). Yet those that have the money and connections ( and I am not talking about mafia or really powerful individuals...I am talking "upper middle class) can easily get the license or guns.
On top of that we export disabled guns that are easily modified to a normal guns...and are of course affordable and easy to get by ...terrorists ?
I do not feel safer because we have a strict gun control. I am safe because my country is insignificant.
As someone mentioned you are not a marketplace for independent customers. Beware the customer satisfaction is not the only metric that you should be looking at. Especially in South Korea. Do not contribute to the Choson hell please.
I'd like to see some high performance ruby implementation for backend stuff (even if limited to some extent ...) sort of like what RubyMotion is for iOS/OS X.
I can imagine a lot of stuff that could benefit from this on the other hand I can see why it has not been done (costs, complexity etc).
Anyway I am sad that RubyMotion is not just as popular as Rails is. That is...very surprising...
Ehm Docker did not invent anything. They polished an existing technology and made it better (not that it's a wrong thing). Many companies / teams do this.
And btw this is a big problem in OSS. We have a lot of good stuff and underpaid people / teams / companies. Because of OSS zealots and leeches.
Disclaimer: I come from neo-communist controlled central / eastern europe. Read : a populist government controls the country, gives freebies paid by tax payers to the elderly and the elderly + dumb vote for the same communists again and again. Younger pop. is trying to escape the country and the middle class shrinks every year.
You do not really want to use public services in my country. Trains are in desolate state and remind you of nazi trains used to transfer prisoners.
Health services are underfunded and the 50% of funds are being stolen by the gov and other oligarchs.
Oh and when they get sick they get treated in another country.
Most of the youngsters in my country see capitalism as the only way to vote in everyday life. You vote with your money wherever you go.
It's not ideal but we hope it works. Unlike our corrupt socialism.
Also did you design the logo yourself ? Looks good as well. Not very innovative and all but overall a good work
