sour grapes, sure! Are you going to argue any of the items I've listed? "Western corporations that mostly focus on extracting local populaces while inflicting as much damage to possible toward local labor groups." Western corporations didn't inflict anything. They ask for something to be built, pay, and receive goods. Chinese companies agree on payment, hire people, do the work, and deliver. win-win. Where's the inflicting part? Oh wait, Chinese companies choose to burn coal, dump chemicals, harsh labor, etc but you blame Western corporations. So Western corporations wrote in the contract you must burn coal, you must pay works $1 per day, no bathroom breaks? In fact, I doubt Western corporations deal with local labor groups at all.

You know why China has money now? Because of Western corporations. But fine, you don't want Western corporations, kick them all out. Right now!

"should have" "could have". Geez. This was malicious. Take legal action already!

but wouldn't that give more opportunities for local students? The disadvantage is, they come, learn, leave, and take what they've learned to benefiting a competing nation, sort of training your replacement. Also, there is the security and IP theft aspect. What are the benefits?

Why would they spend that on the US??? This is an investment and they want maximum gain which is definitely NOT in the US.

China is not a good trading partner at all. They put up barriers for companies entering their market, mandatory China employee in your company, IP theft, they subsidize and flood the market killing competition, most everything they make is lowest quality possible, lots of fraud even within China.

can you explain more on this "demographic crash" because I am not in the loop. Are you talking about population decline which I'm sure will have some effect but elimination?

I don't understand. Why would anyone buy their bonds when the US bonds yield more?

part of it has do do with scarcity and gas prices. Gas is used to produce and transport. If gas prices go up, prices go up just to pay for gas. Basic supply and demand. There are more humans, more cars so the demand is higher and gas is a finite resource. Alternative energies help but gas still heavily used.

Ebay is no less shady. Buy something(from China) that takes a long time to arrive, reviewing is disabled. Ebay is junk.

So Amazon could have logged who performed the action(based on logon details) and catch the culprit.

the professor has all the power in the classroom. If you don't want cheating, define better conditions for the exam. You allowed a take-home exam which means students are able to use any and all resources.

because America can't compete. Build a fab in the US, labor unions, labor costs, regulations, land, energy, taxes, government, water, etc all make this not economical. Everything would cost twice as much and you'd rather buy the cheaper product and it'll be bankrupt. There were reasons why all the manufacturing went overseas to Asia. You're right, the demand right now is HUGE but it won't always be huge. At this point, we don't have the talent or the knowledge to do it well anyway which is why we needed TSMC and Samsung to bring employees over to train people. https://www.cppionline.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/The-De...

there a many people who don't own Apple. Why are you so surprised? I certainly don't and never will. What's it got that I can't get on a standard PC + Linux?
