Normally, the root of this type of problem, is in the judgemental thinking.
I know how this is because I also judge a lot. I judge to the point of creating stories in my head that, in the end, I think I should not act, because of this, this, and that...
The solution to this issue is to lower your judgemental thinking. Relax. Don't worry about your english, don't worry about what people might think if you say what's in your mind, and stop creating stories in your head. Just be yourself.
If you're awkward, that's nice. If you have accent, that's nice too. If you don't have anything to say, don't say anything. You know... these days people urge to find good listeners. Everybody just want to talk, talk, talk, but few really want to listen. Listen to what people around you are saying and I'm sure you'll find good friends.
Regardless if you choose to stay or leave this position I think it is better to learn how to deal with this kind of people.
This kind of people think that everything happens because of them. They think everyone is replaceable, etc...
Don't try to proove anything to her and don't necessarily do things because she asks you. Center only in your job and in yourself. If possible, create side projects and succeed in these side projects as well. Free yourself from this single position and from this mind game.
If you center in your career (job + side projects) and in yourself, she'll not be able to play her game with you and everyday you'll see you have more control over your career and over your life.
I'm thinking about this basic idea: We have, in this case, a machine that is doing the job that a human driver would do - A machine replacing a man.
My question is: Should we be happy about this? Or should we be sad?
This time, we have a machine replacing a driver. In the future we may have machines replacing teachers, doctors, carpenters, artists... even lovers and machine makers.
So, my question remains: Should we be happy? Or should we be sad?
Normally, in science fiction movies, when the machines become intelectually smarter than humans, they try to destroy humanity.
But if, in the real world, they just become smarter than us, and just replace us in every activity. Then, what would we do?
