So I use the same extension and this piqued my interest. On a standard website, FoxyGestures will pop a status box at the bottom, with the gesture you just drew (UDUDLRLR etc). This is done by appending a div at the end of the html body.

It so happens that the website has a CSS style[0] for the last div in the body with no class and no id (search for `body>div:last-child` in the css) - and use it to indicate "admonition-danger" (maybe to show errors?).

I just read your comment today. And the good news is, someone just found the commit that triggered the sleep issue literally a couple hours ago. Fingers crossed a fix is incoming.

In `pwsh` (that's the xplat version of powershell, v7+), default encoding for Out-File is `utf8noBOM`.

When told, "only room for one person OR one animal", it's also the only one to recognise the fact that the puzzle is impossible to solve. The farmer can't take any animals with them, and neither the goat nor wolf could row the boat.

Weird thing is, in Google AI Studio all their models—from the state-of-the-art Gemini 2.5Pro, to the lightweight Gemma 2—gave a roughly correct answer. Most even recognised the packing efficiency of spheres.

But Google search gave me the exact same slop you mentioned. So whatever Search is using, they must be using their crappiest, cheapest model. It's nowhere near state of the art.

> .. Australia could improve a lot but hotels will take a credit card scan

I've not had this done to me in Australia since late 90s early 00s. These days all it takes is a simple tap (or chip swipe) to put a temporary Hold[0] that's released on check-out (or next day).

Ironically, Visual Studio introduced monochrome icons in the early 2010s, and the protestations were so deafening that they introduced colours back in.

Fast-forward a decade, and nobody even bats an eye. I also struggle visually navigating around VSCode when I'm not using a keyboard, but we seem to be a minority.

There are two wins in this. 1) Firefox. Which means you also get the extension on mobile. 2) Dark Reader works on all websites (and you can turn it off for sites don't play well, which isn't many).

I've got the inverse problem. Middle is my trigger finger. And when it's tired, I fall back to using the index finger. With games that are sensitive to analog trigger levels (e.g. car throttle), it's extremely noticeable how much my precision degrades when using the index.

Always chalked it up to not enough practice. After reading this paper, I feel somewhat vindicated. It's not my fault, it's the finger's.

I believe they removed the stalk in last year's model.
