Hey there, Elias here, founder at Codesphere.

We are open sourcing a hobby project, two of our employees worked on. It's basically a Python Backend that takes pictures of shopping receipts and uses LLM models to map the carbon footprint of the most semantically similar product in a database.

Check it out and let us know what think :)

The platform we are building makes deploying, hosting and scaling software in the cloud easy. From our cloud IDE, anyone can deploy full stack apps within seconds, no DevOps experience required.

Launch Alert! Codesphere makes hosting anything from smaller hobby projects (now available free!) to larger enterprise software super simple. It's as easy and fast as serverless on Vercel but without the limitations. Let us know what you think!

Apple announced that it will start to limit the usability of utm-tracking parameters in safari browsers Q4 2023 due to privacy concerns. Other industry leaders are expected to follow closely.

Pretty cool for devrel and marketing teams :)

Learn how we managed to switch from a monolithic mono-repository setup to a web of connected micro frontends, managed by individual teams.

Found this really cool, write tests the way you see the app and never rewrite because of minor changes. Works for dom, canvas and even desktop apps. Ofc, has downsides too like GPU usage and long running tests.

actually feels a little like the AI is mocking the human race

We use a custom service that works similar to Segment (i.o.w. 500 loc that receive events and forward them to all sorts of systems).

We then have Mixpanel for simple stuff and a big sql database that we use for research using SQL, PowerBI, Grafana for more complex things.

Look, we're building codesphere.com for exactly that :)

I think PoW is kind of 'the easy way' to do it right, but it is bad for thge environment.

Its more a mix of ide and cloud provider.

The goal is to provide a much simpler experience compared to today's cloud providers and kubernetes, while giving the opportunity to ad-hoc code directly in the browser.
