About me:
I’ve worked at Yandex (aka “Russian Google”) at the network infrastructure team developing internal tools using eBPF kernel modules and DPDK library. Before that I’ve done some search engine (Sphinx) and microservice development.
Last 4 months I’ve spent researching the question “Is it possible to solve V8 style language runtime isolation using formal verification methods to avoid performance penalties imposed by Spectre vulnerability mitigations?”, which is a common theme to dig myself deeper into modern processor architectures and FVM. Initial plan was to try to develop something useful in the process and give a talk about it, but it all went sideways after the start of the war.
