Best available is not as effective as working from the worst case scenario assumption. Either the desease is not that bad or they didn't care. Wearing a mask and staying home is safer than doing none of that and continuing life as normal.
Unsafe, when side walk suddenly ends, but you see that it continues after the next block and you have a choice: turn around or walk on the road and get hit by a car potentially. I live in such a neighborhood now. I can walk to work, but sidewalk ends a block from my house and there are no street lights, so it is MUCH safer to take a 2 minute drive.
Thank you for such good description of your experience. My pole dance studio incorporates mild relaxation techniques into warm up flow and this works great to help me reset after a stressful work day in the office. I rarely feel the need to reset, but when I do I usually just switch to things I haven't done for a while. Music -> reading -> painting -> sports -> socializing -> learning and so on. This helps stimulate various areas and keep my consciousness well-balanced.
Composing and recording music, songs, painting, various crafts, reading, rarely programming, playing video games (though I have less time for them in the last year).
I noticed I have much more time available if my husband is away, so hanging out with him too. I have 2 cats, they require some attention too.
I would hire someone to deal with kids.
This would be okay, if the officer explained to the thief that this was wrong and suggested other means of getting what he desired, like lending money from friends, or using Kickstarter or social networks or maybe even church (if this works in Canada) or whatever.
The acceptable follow up would be to analyze for groups of kids under risk and have educational meetings at school.
What the officer did seems right, but it might have gotten lucky. This will not be enough in a generic case.
YES!! 100% agree. I hate these labels and after having moved to the US it is really difficult to stand against them. The environment is so pressing! I am meeting with my HR to talk about this, because we are having a meeting with one of our bosses and women in the org. I find it super discriminating. This article will help me argue my point!
I visited a chiropractor in Denmark. It was manual therapy, the doctors were knowledgeable and used massage and acupuncture in addition to "breaking bones" - all was very relieving and made a lot of sense. The one here in the US I did not trust. I looked more like a waster of money.
I've always identified myself as non-binary, but I have no problem with selecting 'female' in questionnaires, because that is what my parts are. Unless you had a surgery or a genetic disorder (is it possible even?), it is binary and objective, disregard the feelings. So what is the fuss about? Some teenagers's hormone freak-out?
If we have full automation of basic needs fulfillment, powered by sun and carried out by robots, then everyone has more time to have fun. The definition of fun will adapt. Probably get on a new planet and die fighting local fauna will be what people will resort to. Why not? Society will keep supporting individuals, especially when people with the same interests will be discoverable so easily. Sounds like heaven to me. Humanity can do it! Don't forget that mentality will keep evolving
Someone invented shifts. Imagine, you go on vacation for 3 months in summer, I go on vacation for 3 months in winter, next year we switch. Wouldn't that be awesome, eh?
Your position sucks, dude. Everyone should get more, not less. So yes, non smokers should be getting 'smoke' breaks that they can use for a walk, for example. And everyone will be happier.
