so I guess the question is: why can’t one use wifi for these “supply chain problems” ?

the article doesn’t answer the question. Why setup an expensive private 5G network instead of a private wifi lan, also considering wifi maturity and wide support?

Even if “now” they listened, they still don’t understand. Developers don’t live and breath Windows and VS. MS continues to push Windows experience first. Look at the joke of VS for Mac…

similar experience here, after 12 years with spotify I had enough of the confusing UI and poor recommendations. They literally know all the music I like and still I don’t discover enough new music as I did just listening to the car radio. Bought into Apple One and will see how that goes, I just need to migrate some playlists.

while they follow the rules there’s no objective reason. If Apple is doing so only because they don’t like Epic, they are abusing their position

A good case showing that centralized walled app stores are bad and reduce users’ choices

If it had sacrificed P IRC would stop working in case of a net split. Instead it keeps working in an inconsistent state.
