It's best to just not go to those sites. Never whitelist, it defeats the whole purpose if you care one bit about tracking. If I come across enough links to a site that does that, I add them to my url blacklist, so I never see them again. I wish uBlock Origin would add that feature so I did't have to maintain my own junky plugin to do it.

I never considered what they'd do in the event of a forced password reset after a breach. Not a problem for my use case given I consider them throwaway accounts anyway. Maybe sites should have accounts specifically designed as throw aways. No visible karma, no email, clear indication that you can't recover if you forget password, if there is a breach, your account is deleted immediatley.

I had never touched Clojure until a few weeks ago. I started learning it because Spec got me really excited and I want it or something a lot like it right now.

"one-global-monorepo" caused me to envision a beautiful/horrifying Borg-like future where all code in the universe was in a single place and worked together.

I couldn't find anything that shows/says it has any kind of touch screen. I hope it doesn't. I also hope there isn't any kind of indie market, there's already plenty of options for that and it would be nice not to have to sift through a hundred FNAF rip-offs to find something worth playing.

Couldn't the separation of talk/text and data be eliminated? Is there a difference anymore or is it just marketing?
