I've always thought that Javascript makes up for its lack of compile-time guarantees with compensating tooling.

For example, it's common to use Flow with Javascript to enable static type checking before actually running it.

The language itself doesn't guarantee type safety, but when used with peripheral tooling, the developer isn't missing too much.

The AST of that would still be a tree. AST does not concern itself with the semantics of the language, only its syntax.

A good example of the connotation of "认为" is "think" as in, "I thought you would have hired a better translator, IBM."

Another thing about Amtrak is, they do not own their tracks. Instead they use tracks from other companies and have to yield priority to them. The American train system will always be much slower than necessary because of these system delays.
