Market is not bad but job posting data is fragmented and monopolised by few players. Not every job is posted in Linkedin and Indeed. We started to index jobs directly from startups and SMBs careers pages, found tons lying outside, making it easier for job seekers to find one.

We are working on https://huntyourtribe.com, portfolio-first ATS for hiring

For decades, we have been using resumes as primary people discovery tool. frankly speaking, no one likes to update boring resume stuff. We thought why can't we discover people by more signals, deep lens which a personal website/portfolio gives.

This gives people motivation to keep portfolio website upto date with journaling.

ATS automatically captures all signals realtime from github, blogs, case studies docs comprehensively and showcase to employers

We are approaching not AI heavy way. Balance of SAAS + AI integration to build it into people hiring platform.

Would love blunt feedback from others

We have been using AGNO framework for HuntYourTribe quite sometime. It is pretty much working out well for us. Minimalistic design for isolation, decoupling and control plane architecture.

Intelligence in today's world is very subjective. Something could comes easily for you or passionate to push boundaries in certain fields like maths, physics, music etc. It can be trained.

I would say "Wisdom cannot be trained". Every individual is unique in this world and journey that he travels, experience in professional and personal life, mindset shapes an individual. Its almost impossible to replicate. That wisdom guides the person forever.

Yes. We are building huntyourtribe.com , portfolio-first ATS for startups and lean teams.

We are only ATS, making it easier for people to showcase real work and for startups to spot better candidates faster.

We are not building AI heavy/AI-native tool. We have integrated AI as tool wherever is necessary.

We believe you can't built customer-centric tool if AI is thrown everywhere. Our tool is meant for real human connections and discovery.

"people use it" and "people pay for it". Whoever figure out this gap and close it will win

yes. I totally agree with this. Every successful startups has multiple failure iteration in the past.

Success at first attempt is rare. My original question was around when you decide to pursue one of your idea fulltime. It could be 1, 2, 3rd attempt but at some point, we only have 2 option. Quit or next iteration

I would offload boring stuffs like HTML, CSS to AI agent. Core problem solving would start from prompting my brain. I have been in programming for decade now, building my startup now. AI as boring co-pilot, I would anyday feel happy.

We started portfolio builder, where professionals can comprehensively express their work with ease. We believed work speaks louder than shiny websites.

but 5 months, we learned we can't build sustainable business out of it. But we had around 1000+ signups. Users gave us feedback, currently my portfolio looks standalone, if you could connect me with maybe potentials jobs etc then, something value i can pay for.

Then we tried to connect portfolio with ATS. Portfolio-first ATS for startups and lean teams. Then yeah, we got around 10 customers who are ready to pay.

Recently couple of colleges, also expressed interest for such tool.

Now we got our core principle in place, "Build by feedbacks, not with assumptions"

But reality is most startups begins with idea at day 1.

Real game changer is Idea -> problem -> solution -> value for money -> customer, how quickly your startup make these transitions and get your Market Product Fit.

Journey will be hard but hang in there and keep your product floating and keep connecting the dots. No playbook exists

yup. self growth will be staying with you forever.

Everything else just auxiliary things

Acceleration vs replacements.

Fatty teams will become lean. productivity will become 10x. Shipping feels fast.

These signals feels right at first for acceleration.

Once complexity factor starts to creep in every SAAS will need human intervention to scale it forward .

Linus Torvalds said "AI is a tool"

I derive this analogy where AI is like code editor with advanced auto suggestions feature.

How far you are pushed to use by your organisation is going to break every seniors patience.

AI hype is trying blurring between blue collar and white collar people. In reality the line will exists and it will broaden.

AI is going to stay with us forever. Its really matter of this how we are going to position itself in our day-day activities.

Right query would be "When will AI hype disappear?"

Its a battle between AI-tool VS AI-Boss

this is interesting perspective!

"Understanding translated into code" has been the art and science of programming for decades.

"Understanding translated into code", this user flow is accelerated now.

But the blueprint remains the same.
