Exactly! I've been using Gemini Live for a while now and have been able to converse quite fluently. Maybe it's the long think functionality that's a differentiator here from OAI, which I'd be surprised if Gemini doesn't come out with of their own this year.

In a world where most teams are remote and members don't see or meet each other, sometimes throughout their entire tenure, I think a bit of human contact is worth the time sacrifice. Corporate productivity is does not trump this in my opinion.

There is no competition because the business is not sustainable. Not everyone gets to raise billions of dollars on a promise of self-driving future - where the per unit economy might be sustainable. When that happens there will be tons of competition.

No one expects them to survive. The business model is unsustainable on unit economy basis. Uber has always lived on borrowed time.
