@qarl but you ARE bearing witness. The beliefs you have accepted or you believe you have chosen has compelled you to bear witness here.

The actual way you reason today has in large part to do with your religious cultural heritage. This is true regardless of whether you accept it or not. To say that Christianity has not impacted western culture including thinking and reasoning would be naive at best.

Understanding this will help you to understand why you view the world and morality the way you do and in turn how you answer hard questions like technology's place in culture, life, workplace, etc.

Or perhaps those who are saying otherwise are trying to spread their own mind virus.

It is interesting how derisive your comment is compared to those who are in support of interesting and diverging content.

I am, however a bit confused by your comment as I have read several posts this week that had absolutely nothing to do with software/technology and most interestingly only two having to do anything with a compiler. Are you saying we should only post about compilers.

I am waiting to be enlightened by your list of acceptable topics and content.

I think your experience is one of conditioning or even breed type. I have German Wirehair Pointers which I keep in top athletic shape.

When we are in the field they will triple my distance travelled ( verified by GPS ). My outings are typically 8-12 miles and thus 24-36 miles for the dogs. Of course I need to keep them hydrated during this activity.

The behavior of running forward and looking back is most likely what we refer to as checking in. The dog is trying verify where you are heading/doing. In my dog's case they will range out to around 400 yards and then return to with 20 yards and run passed making eye contact as they run by.

Perhaps faith is a type of choice and in either case difficult.

1. We see often where people deny an objective choice. Even those choices that are predominately 'good' and instead choose those that are predominately 'destructive'.

2. A choice to accept forgiveness is exceedingly difficult as the first step is to accept limits of your own power. That is to say, you must accept another's greater ability to forgive than your own.

In either case, regardless of the objective nature of the 'choice' they remain difficult for humans to make.

Every leader should read this and understand it is universally applicable. Not just to AI talent.

View your team in this way and together you will accomplish whatever you set out to do.

AI is NOT going away. Spend serious time to learn how leveraging AI can multiply your output ( quality and quantity ) or get left behind. Practice. Improve. Deliver. Period.

You’ve seen the posts and articles: “I’m inherently better than AI, coding faster and smarter.” Sure, maybe for now—especially if you’re half-assing your AI game. But that edge? It’s vanishing fast.

Stop being so self indulgent.

Become proficient with the tools available to you or get left behind.

I was unable to locate details regarding how the code/data is used/owned by the service. Clicking on the Legal link simply sends you to the top of the Home Page.

At this time I can't even think about using the tool until I know what you are doing with my information and who owns or has access to it.
