If you are working on open source databases, or something close to the metal I agree with antirez, if you are working at some established tech business (e.g: a very old ecommerce site), I agree with you

when I used to crawl the web, battle tested Perl regexes were more reliable than anything else, commented urls would have been added to my queue.

It isn't more popular because it's not easy to use it properly.

I haven't touched it in years so I can't expand, but when I did, I had to write so many wrappers and add extra logic to use it properly.

They have been very secretive and didn't have a working website until recent, we will have to wait and see!

When it comes to quantum computing companies I do think it's best to take any of their claims with a grain of salt by default.
