I'd like to get out of the matrix as much as the next guy, but I haven't found any reliable alternatives that actually provide equivalent services.

And in terms of degoogled phones, I like the idea, but the conspiracy theorist in me tells me, "hhhhmmmm, people are leaving the google / apple ecosystem, and the best phones out there for degooling is Pixel phones by google..."

That's like the best move Google made, their "free" services are the main driver for selling their phones.

You know what I hate? Those reels on social media telling parents how to raise kids, while using perfectly timed video clips of kids behaving themselves, sitting nicely on a highchair, picking freshly chopped fruits, etc.. good for them. In real life, I have to repeat myself 1000 times everyday they have to sit at the table and eat!

But at the end of the day, there’s nothing better than having kids.

The assumption that those managers have is that it’s easy to replace tech guys because AI is advancing, and a crap like that nonsense.

Funny enough, I got laid off last month, yes I’m a tech guy, now they apparently regret it because they are now scrambling to find a replacement to do the tech tasks!

TBH, I’m happy I got laid off because I’m finally building something I wanted to use.

That’s when you choose for AI to disappear… but most people are comfortable living in the matrix.

I can’t say it’s free, but if it’s a static site, you can host it for dirt cheap on AWS S3.

Eva are great until you have the replace the battery. Then you’ll finally realize the real cost of owning an EV.

Once people realize that, then the game is over. Honda is just forecasting the future more accurately than other automakers.

As long as the general public respond to sensationalism, what’s stopping the social media platforms from exploiting.

Most of them are click baits anyways.

"I realized that I had more diversity and depth of skills than I knew about", I came to the same conclusion as well. I never knew I'd spend so much time architecting the framework I'm building myself, and I used to think I was just a coder. Now I'm a one man tech production agency.

If it's for language learning, you might want to target specifically for language lesson videos.

and I'd enable the caption as default so the users can also read what they are saying.

I picked up the same model, including the shipping to Canada, it ended up costing a lot for what it is.

How are you hosting your LLM locally? I tried Ollama on an M4 Mac mini, even with a smaller LLM, the performance was very poor.

Beyond (Meat) already generated bad reps already. The tainted brand won't do well no matter how much they pivot.

If I were vegan, I'd cook my own meals because then I'd really know what's in the food I eat.

This tool would have been great maybe 5 years ago.

Now companies are starting to expect developers to deliver products much faster, that means coders are more likely to become AI orchestrators to manage multiple AI dev agents instead of coding themselves.

If the target audience is coders, what could make visitors engage with it right away is, instead of showing what it does, build a simple coding tester and challenge the visitors like a popup quiz on the landing page.

But anyways, good luck!

Regardless of which side you are on, you are going to have enemies when it comes to the Middle East politics.

If you are a journalist, it comes with the territory, I'm sure you know.
