Interracial marriage has been around for time immemorial and in no way affects the nature of a marriage.
Gay marriage was invented in the past coupled decades by left-wing ideologues. Even in ancient societies where homosexuality was the norm, they didn't have gay marriage. Gay marriage also entirely deviates from the original purpose of marriage: to settle down to monogamy to birth and raise children.
The idea that the two are comparable is pretty ridiculous.
Which is exactly my point. The ACLU deals in protection of civil liberties of which in this case it is clear no rights were violated. So the ACLU has just become an advocate for liberal politics, which is precisely my criticism of the organization: it pretends to be a principled organization that protects civil rights when it instead is just an advocate for leftist politics.
The parent comment called everyone pro-life uneducated and incapable of reason; I hardly see how mocking him for it in a way that demonstrates how asinine that line of thought is is out-of-line. Yes, this is how I would respond face-to-face if someone maligned half my country.
What procedural guarantees are permanent residents guaranteed under US law, that these people were not granted when they were denied entry, ie. what is 'due process' in the context of entry for permanent residents?
Both articles just say "unconstitutional" and say "racist" a bunch of times without citing statute or case law. Sorry if I don't find such arguments compelling.

What happened was Obama signed the bill imposing exceptions to the Visa Waiver Program in December 2015, and then his own DHS added the current list of middle eastern nations in February 2016.
