Film formats still rule, but I’m curious what comes next. What I’m seeing in the mainstream is large-format 65 mm / IMAX 70 mm film, which feels like a premium big-screen experience, almost too premium to access nearby.

Good take, I also did a similar thing with Gemini, Where we had to generate personalized advice based on Habits, Tasks done and Surveys taken by the user. All these were in JSON format, I gave it and asked to generate a piece of advice.

Pretty cool, but i cant imagine the work involved in testing the code, the laptop hinge must have gone through a lot

I got started in coding via roblox, when i was below 18, but we had groups of people of our similar age collaborating together and forming game studios. We did commissions as well which were paid. So if we alter the perspective on that then anyone can call it a child labour. But mostly the kids here just enjoy the experience as a whole

Cool stuff, reminds me of reddit's r/place, but for developers

Interesting stuff. Saw some steam games in lisp and heard about lisp game engines as well, Need to try this

I have heard many times of this, I even have it installed. Need to start using this now, seeing the benefits in this thread makes me excited.

Interesting, Like how its focused on making it lean by having less bloated versions of the tools

Tom and jerry is popular as it kept the kids engaged and since there's only action involved, anyone could watch it regardless of age, i remember seeing old people watching tom and jerry with joy, that's why the numbers are high.

In this AI Age, It is crucial for developers to have a fundamental understanding of GPUs and their application to AI development.

This communicates an important idea, Well-written code is not only correct and efficient, but it is also readable, maintainable, and understandable to other programmers.

This culture should be encouraged more to make other developer's life easier, The thing I do nowadays is that I would often switch perspectives now and then, When switching perspectives, if i become confused, i would work on making the code more meaningful.

Even if we are doing a solo project, if we come back to the code after a long while, the code should be greeting us with wide open hands rather than looking like an unexplored jungle.

I agree that latency is important, the way in which you can type out things without spending extra time in delays can be a huge productivity boost,

One sort of analogy we can give is driving a car with good response time, even if the car is not having a good top speed, the acceleration we get when we push the pedal is enough to think we are going fast.

But throughput can also have a dominating factor, but its reliant on other areas, like typing out an already prepared article.

For operations that require thought, latency is important

By storing coverage reports as artifacts and using a Greasemonkey script, we can automatically display detailed coverage comparisons in merge requests. Even if gitlab doesnt natively support it.

I generally feel like we can encourage building up more game development platforms, to solve such financial issues. One such platform was roblox, which i previously worked on, the ease in which they onboarded us to develop a game is pretty good. And due to no upfront cost, developers can quite make some money from scratch and the distribution will be handled by the platforms itself. The downsides i see is the cut they will take from us from the profit as well as bending towards their rules.

For advanced development we are still limited by the technological limitations provided by the platform, so it kind of limits our overall ambition too.

We need to think about the role of government in regulating consumer electronics. Should the government require companies to disclose more information about the security and privacy risks of their products? Should the government ban the sale of products that pose a significant security risk?

The lack of transparency on the security details will take a toll on the consumers in the coming future.
