I'd like to see the "in" operator from SQL in C-style languages.

Something like:

  if(x in (null, 2, 3.14, foo(123)) {
    //
  }

Maybe aggressive drivers don't drive aggressively all the time making you mistankenly assume they are good drivers?

What's also interesting is that Dave himself can be called a true fan. That of Japanese traditional craftmanship. And actually the same applies to music - many great bands started as true fans of other bands. It's like making art and following art obsessively are interlinked.

- The war in Ukraine will still be ongoing throughout the year. Western tiredness of the war will start to have an effect and in order to avoid Trump getting his second presidency, Biden will start seeking for a diplomatic solution. At the same time there will be more instability within Russia, like scattered armed rebellions.

- Several whistleblowers, like Eric Davis, will come forward with information about UAP secret programs. However, thanks to plausible deniability, the UAP issue will remain far from being disclosed.

- The economy will appear to be doing better until a major crash in the second half of the year. This will get the indexes below pre-covid levels by quite a substantial amount. Crypto will be decimated again while PM-s thrive.

This sounds like theft. Maybe you should consider taking legal action.

It sounds as if the company itself does not have a 'dislike' button.

Theoretically yes. Even putting it all on black in Vegas could work. But it doesn't mean you should do it. Any investment is inherently a gamble, some are riskier than others and some have a too small payoff for the risk.

Maybe the real takeaway from his story is to bet big in a new market to get rich. And if you lose it all, earn more and do it again. It would have happened in the early days of the internet just the same.

Yes, it's incredibly risky but at least it has a better chance than playing the lottery. Like Nassim Taleb says, bet on things with a limited downside and unlimited upside. And if you don't try, nothing will happen.
