Yes, and Starter Packs make this possible.

BlueSky has starter packs that allow you to mass follow in the click of a button. You join 10 starter packs in one day, you are following over 1000 people. Sometimes following others is the only way to get people to engage with your content.

When the drama first started, I thought @photomatt’s plan might be to build ACF directly into WordPress (and maybe get rid of Gutenburg). I’m not sure if taking control of the plug-in is a step in that direction or if he probably could have incorporated ACF without taking over the plug-in. What’s the endgame?

Job market is very bad for programmers. Strange time to quit.

photomatt made a smart move to incentivize the exit of employees who disagreed with him on this important issue (as it would have festered in the company), but I think he offered them too much money.

100% in support of photomatt on this. Matt, many of your critics are speaking loudly but everyone still loves you for what you've given to the open source community. Hopefully the differences will be resolved.

I didn't realize Scott Chacon was a founder of Github. Did they all cash out equally?

What are the minimum resources you'd need to run similar types of tests at the scale that Jepsen does?

What's the difference between a successful and unsuccessful campaign? How hard the organizers work at collecting signatures? Or does mainstream media get involved and publicize it?

Was it considered cheating that the English goalie had statistics about penalty kick preferences of opposing players written on his water bottle (and concealed under a towel) in the semi-finals for the Euros?

The article says Dyson (a vacuum manufacturer) was working on an electric vehicle until 2019. Did they give up too early?

If someone had pointed out to me the connection between computer programming problem solving and the Rubik’s cube earlier, I might have started programming sooner.
