Some of these graphs are quite depressing. This one [1] about budget priorities in the US seems completely skewed. Can anyone confirm the truthfulness of the sources?
I recently rewrote a few small c scripts in Rust, (mostly to try the language features), the experience was really good. I don't think I will ever start a new project in C again.
I just did! Annoying the I had to reduce the number of particles significantly in order not to force CPU to spark. Does anyone have suggestions for an alternative library? (I really don't want to have to write something like this myself for a landing page, talk about overkill)
Playing devil's advocate here: I'd say that algorithm design (Which is what a sudoku solver is) is a bad fit for TDD.
However, I'd argue that most problems in commercial coding are of a more engineering/architectural type of nature. Here, outside-in TDD has it's place.
Outside-in TDD can help you tackle problems that seem enormous, and slowly but steadily break them into smaller components.
