And you believe Germany somehow avoided it? Nice one.

Don't worry, wealthy people manage fine in Germany and multiply their capital.

It's just a glass ceiling on a middle class.

They're not wrong. It's definitely spread throughout EU too.

> Even when I am in pedestrian mode I find myself cursing those smaller electric moped riders who qualify to ride the bike lane

Well yeah but they're another league of recklessness. Especially the food delivery people.

I was talking more about an average bicycle commuter.

Can it work with Zigbee network or is Matter/Thread required?

Can vouch for it. Ultrasound hasn't found calcification in my shoulder but MRI did. Exactly as you said, because it was very small.

I can see how your thesis is valid.

Like OP, I also had a shoulder MRI, and asked two AIs for opinion (awaiting a follow up appointment to discuss the results).

They both insinuated much more serious problem than it was (as judged by an orthopaedic doctor).

There is no efficiency to be found.

It's a "cover your ass" mentality that resists any changes.

Some things, like invasion of privacy, are bad enough, that we should protect all citizens from it, independent of age.

Commit hooks just don't make that much sense. Push hooks are much better idea. Once you're done with all your work, linting, last minute adjustments and whatnot, push it and get the checks result. If something goes wrong, your push is blocked.

Maybe because you can just buy a nice ThinkPad, slap any distro on and be done with it. Without all this hassle.

Japanese cars is actually a positive qualifier. I'd say anything Japanese motor-powered.

> I am extremely happy with ohmypi, but you could use OpenCode or just keep using Claude Code!

What's the benefit of using OMP over OpenCode?

Just the sheer amount of options in OMP overwhelmed me. But I also use both via ACP in Zed so the CLI itself doesn't matter much.

Really shocked Poland is that low, especially just next to USA.

Don't ever read about the Red Army marching west (and plundering) through Europe. You'll get a heart attack.

Get a motorcycle. Definitely don't get a HD though.

And that's why real estate market is so bad in DE/AT. Folks are terrified of investing in stock market, even through ETFs.

So it's either put everything in a Sparkonto, where it gets eaten by inflation or buy housing.

IMHO the ergonomics of their tooling are not great. I'd rather use Codex or even OpenCode. Configuration alone is very arcane with lacking documentation. Sandboxing/permission system is quite confusing too.

In any case, pretty much everywhere in the developed world, we desperately need lower burden on people's labour (through salary income tax and related contributions). If wealth tax is a way to get there, so be it.

It was the same in communist Poland. You were not allowed to be a lefty -- all the citizens had to be homogenous. My father was born a lefty and forced to write with his right hand in primary school. He ended up learning how to write upside down too, just for fun.
