You are naive. Nothing to do with empathy. Everything is cash - warm little cash. No what's lost is - people stopped voting with their wallets. When someone did something atrocious, people stopped buying it. Now - first of all, half of the consumers don't care if PS5 titles are on disc already. And they will not stop when they stop putting things on discs. So why would Sony stop?

Ok great don't buy them in digital form so Sony learns a lesson?

Maybe introduce virtual scratches? Or like maybe blur the textures a bit every time it's played?

Is Dorohedoro S2 out? Wa wa wee wa!

Kidding aside, did you pick those 2006 releases at the time they were being released or are you picking them up from a list after years of refinement and discovery? It's completely possible that 2026 will be as fruitful from a 2046 perspective.

If they don't do it, somebody else will. It's better white hats get there first.

If you can't imagine the scale of a retailer's etnerprise architecture, maybe it's a you problem?

Same argument goes for cigarette and alcohol. Withholding access to them is a decision a parent can make. Are you for allowing children to purchase them?

Well - ketchup on your disc may drip on the the laser diode - don't you think it's hard to defend against? maybe they need lens wipers against ketchup on the disc issue.

True, but I see how much of a leverage AI tools give - I would like to exploit them as much as possible and only use my experience where necessary (not necessarily when typing code). I can individually instruct Codex or agents to do somewhat complex work and review and merge, but I am wondering if there is a better way to set everything up.

I can smell the reply of someone who doesn't have a teenager from a mile. Yes, you will do everything right. Yes, your kids will be perfect. Everyone has a plan until you get punched in the face.

What is your CI like? Do you auto deploy somewhere?

Never played TD - How does it compare to Lotus? More of a simulation?

I don't think when people say "terror of screen time" they mean 20 minutes of Bluey here and there.

Wow, took me 2 mins to scroll down to first anti-RTO comment - the sentiment is certainly shifting.

While true - left hand changes position all the time and has to go on the correct frets all the time - right hand is gentle and subtler, I agree, but is also a lot more forgiving.

Some of the best guitarists I have met are left-handed playing right-handed guitar ones. Which also makes sense - The more difficult part of playing the guitar is not fingering/picking, it's the fretboard. By using their dominant hand on the fretboard they have a genuine advantage. I've never understood why we formed the right handed guitar to have the dominant hand on the body. There must be a reason.

I can't think of an AI-enabled IDE project that's not a fork of VSCode - There is only Zed, though I don't know if we can compare it to Antigravity or Cursor.

I am not sure if they have to explicitly say it's VSCode - do we expect car companies to say "Hey we actually rebadged this to X but it's originally Y" - those who need to know, already know.

That Generative UI in Search is amazing, but mocked message from his wife telling him not to use her in demos was cringeworthy.

Erm - It is VSCode.

Nobody who wanted to erase a tree or fix their smile paid for Photoshop anyway. and Photoshop does a a lor more than pixel manipulation. So, a moot point.
