pragmatic·8 giorni fa·discuss"One major trick in distributed systems is to always attempt things in the same order"This is inportant in DBs in general to avoid deadlocks by two requests taking locks in different order.
pragmatic·8 giorni fa·discussBut you are assuming distributed transactions as soon as you have two systems participating in the transaction. It's a recipe for deadlocks and even live locks. That's a reason industry moved away from this.
