Caveat:

>However it ruled she must wear an electronic ankle tag for a year, making a campaign both logistically and politically difficult.

>Le Pen herself appeared to rule out a run if she was forced to wear a tag. “If I’m allowed to be a candidate but am effectively prevented from campaigning freely, then you understand that wouldn’t be possible,” she said in an interview last week.

>...

>Le Pen is due to give a prime-time TV interview on TF1 at 8 p.m. local time (2 p.m. ET), in which she may make an announcement on her political future.

Illustrative video:

>On Jan. 14, 2005, ESA's Huygens probe made its descent to the surface of Saturn's hazy moon, Titan. Carried to Saturn by NASA's Cassini spacecraft, Huygens made the most distant landing ever on another world, and the only landing on a body in the outer solar system. This video uses actual images taken by the probe during its two-and-a-half hour fall under its parachutes.

From recent Bloomberg report:

>An analyst's missed remarks and US intelligence systems that weren’t connected to one another are among the missteps that investigators have surfaced while probing the cause of a missile strike on an Iranian school that killed an estimated 120 children.

>Years before the US attacked Iran in Feb, an intel analyst examining information about potential future strike targets in Iran noticed changes at a site the US had previously characterized as a man IRGC naval facility in Minab, Iran. It was, in fact, now an elementary school.

>The analyst remarked on changes at the site in a digital intelligence tool, but that tool wasn’t linked up to the official intelligence database that the US uses to develop strike targets and the information was never conveyed to military commanders, acc to people familiar.

>The analyst’s remarks, which one of the people sd were submitted in 2019, were never heeded, and the same building was reviewed multiple more times over the following years without anyone updating the targeting database. A probe into these and other issues has yet to be released.

>Jeffrey Sachs

He's basically an ally of Russian state at this point:

>Sachs has suggested that the U.S. was responsible for the sabotage of the Nord Stream pipeline. In February 2023, he was invited by the Russian government to address the United Nations Security Council about the topic.
