That’s only good for privileged people. Almost nobody I know has enough skill with any other language (and that includes English) to move to another country in the EU.
If there’s something I’ve learnt of irc is that you don’t taunt those who can bring your connection down. Maybe this will teach these kids from ProtonMail a lesson.
That’s your opinion. I disagree. With the glasses they probably needed lots of filtering by hand. Costed them a lot of money. They were afraid of costly lawsuits. But they don’t have the capacity to do that with every product they sell.
It won’t fix censorship. Most users will pile up in certain servers (or even just one) and the owners of that server will censor whatever they don’t like (be it users or entire servers). In the end, it’ll be like Twitter.
Why should the Linux foundation be full of FLOSS sticklers? Not even Linus cares that much about freedom, as his refusal to licence Linux under the GPL3 shows
If it’s a spectacular failure (someone who doesn’t like at all like the criminal) he’ll be let go right away. If there’s a reasonable resemblance, it would be as if some person reported the guy manually to the police.
Why are all of these articles written under the premise that this software sends you automatically to jail? It’s just a first step in the vetting process.
