Not exactly a new topic. But I completely agree. It's not just that forcing your coworkers to think for you is rude, it also slows down the entire team. You're saving a few calories, the entire team grinds to a halt from the paper cuts of your questions.
The reason democracy works is not because a majority vote FOR a certain policy or not, but because a majority can remove shit leaders without a bloody revolution.
Democracy is a corrective system, not a prescriptive one.
