I don't think we should be calling out what works for someone else as "a terrible strategy". People work in different ways - don't assume your way is the only right way.
Yeah this is a good approach I try to customize my CV off a base for every role. Even shoving it in a new company-name folder in Dropbox.
Even though the person is asking for them to apply they are probably asking a lot of people so are going to scan your resume looking for keywords and alignment to a role
My gf and I use these exact headphones. Have tried several others (eg sleepy phones) which are good but I found these are a perfect cost to quality ratio. I charge them maybe once per week
"better" in that it's less risky to have covid than to drive? Might need a reference on that claim. My quick googling only thing I found a comparison to doing bomber runs over nazi Germany during ww2 for older generations.
Most of the people upset about the lockdowns seem to be people living outside of New Zealand. Quick search shows that currently 85% of New Zealanders agree with the current lockdown approach. We've seen what it did to Australia by not properly locking down. People are paid a covid support wage subsidy through their business to ensure that they stay being paid.
Yeah, NZ phased ours out late 80s/1990. 2004 we phased out the 5c piece as well.
Anecdotally (as in I might be wrong :) I remember hearing at the time the 5c piece was phased out it was worth less than when the 1/2c pieces were originally released. NB I have put zero effort into thinking if that makes sense or is true. (edit - confirmed)
[ Edit ] - We also made every other coin smaller. It's always startling to get an Australian 50c coin - even though it's the same size as ours used to be. Our's is now smaller than the AU 20c.
That is very interesting! How'd you manage to come to the conclusion to go somewhere like McKinsey? How'd you get in? How long were you there and what sort of stuff were you learning?
There are a lot of factors that can contribute to the second week converting better or worse Eg public holidays, paydays, sporting events.. That's why ab tests run at the same time so you can compare the same population.
Never heard of housetrip. Just tried it now for a holiday I have coming up looks like it's got some serious issues - was finding me houses miles away from where I wanted to go and indicating that they were far closer.
Yeah for sure. 1900 hrs? I wouldn't do 100 in a calendar year so this would be a way better option for me than having to constantly upgrade to keep ahead of new boxes. (well constantly == every other year).
