I could just as likely propose

4. Unknown long-term risks of Covid enhanced by vaccine + unknown long-term risks of vaccine.

Vaccine-enhanced disease is a very real thing, it's happened before (e.g. dengue). But it doesn't matter. Now we are talking about higher order nonlinear terms which are almost impossible to predict.

I am not claiming that I know for sure getting the vaccine is a negative risk/reward, although I do believe it is a possibility. I am just claiming that, given the present situation and present uncertainty, the vaccine mandate laws are evil, and the people who advertised this as a great vaccine with 90% efficacy ("pandemic of the unvaccinated") are liars since it's actually the least effective vaccine ever made.

>One look at hospitalization and death stats should confirm this as obvious

Not in my country, not obvious at all. And my country has better data than yours I bet.

>This sounds like one of those "bible code" things. As someone who knows nothing about DNA sequences, what is the probability that two codes could be matched? (In a birthday paradox sense where you can go looking anywhere)

The genome in question is about 30000 bases long, which isn't nearly long enough for the outcome space size issue to come into play. Assuming independence, the probability is still very remote, effectively zero.

However, there is in no way any expectation of independence. SARS-CoV-2 is obviously closely related to SARS-CoV-1, which is obviously closely related to 2015/2016 ongoing vaccine research. (And perhaps gain of function research.)

For context, most commercial airline pilots use autoland infrequently, around 1% to 2% of landings, or less. However, during low visibility conditions (fog), autoland is sometimes mandatory to be able to land at all.

In manual landings, I could expect that radio altimeter interference can still disturb the altitude callouts and terrain warnings.

Excluding unvaccinated people has nothing to do with preventing disease. Ever since the wide availability of effective vaccines last summer, the purpose of most Covid restrictions is to expand the surveillance state and compel obedience to the pharma-government alliance.

It shows having had 2 doses of the vaccine increases your chances to get infected with Omicron compared to having none. Considerably.

I'm just talking about the data here, you can play word games or make the excuses on your own.

Denmark, Pfizer effectiveness against omicron of minus 75% (Table) https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2021.12.20.21267966v...

Scotland, similar https://www.pure.ed.ac.uk/ws/portalfiles/portal/245818096/Se...

Strong negative vaccine effectiveness persists after controlling for age. Data are however uncontrolled for restrictions/behaviour, which might vary strongly in Europe. (unvaccinated people are excluded from full civil and social rights at the moment)

The situation is unclear. As someone who is not at acute risk of Covid (age < 24, BMI < 24), there is absolutely no reason to be rushing to get these vaccines before the long-term effectiveness ad safety trials are over.

>It's funny that people who are afraid of long-term effects from vaccines are not at all concerned by the long-term effects of an infection!

I'm afraid of both. And since the vaccine doesn't prevent you from getting infected by omicron (actually, it seems it makes it worse, according to recent data), I reckon it's better to not get vaccinated and face one unknown source of long-term effects, instead of get vaccinated and face two unknown sources of long-term effects. How funny is that?

28 million years of life lost in 31 countries whose population appears to add up to over 1 billion people.

So what are we talking about here, maybe like 2 weeks each? Which is optimistic -- because personally I believe most of the restrictions have a very small effect. Roughly that many people were going to die anyway, whether we did Sweden's approach or Austria's approach or anywhere in between.

Well - good god, I'm really looking forward to those extra 2 weeks of my life. They will be amazing. It will definitely make up for spending my entire youth, and possibly my entire life, in a hellish surveillance state where you aren't allowed to go to school or see your family and you have to show your papers to enter a restaurant. SO WORTH IT, right?

>Hundreds of thousands, and potentially many millions of dead Americans one one hand right now

whose average age is greater than the life expectancy.

But sure, let's discard our free society to prolong their lives by a bit. If history tells us anything, it's that free society is a stable attractor, so I'm sure we'll get it back in no time, right guys?

Narrowness of immune response:

>The mRNA and viral vector vaccines induced ONLY spike protein antibodies in the inoculated test subjects

>In comparison, whole inactivated virus and natural infection induce antibodies to many parts of the virus

Original antigenic sin:

>Subjects injected with the old formulations have locked their immune response to only a few antibodies

>Any new formulation of the injection will amplify those antibodies rather than inducing new ones

Antibody-dependent enhancement:

>Omicron may have mutated to take advantage of non-neutralising antibodies to the injection spike protein

>This would mean that the virus can more easily latch onto the CD147 receptor and enter cells in the vaccinated

Literally zero media mention of the fact that this protest evolves out of Rotterdam dockworkers strikes and protests ongoing for past 72 hours, threatening massive disruption to European logistics across the entire Rhineland and beyond.

They don't want it known how much power blue-collar workers (who are primarily unvaccinated) really have. "It's just some kids who want fireworks, guys, it can't change anything. Now, as we were.. Covid papers, please! Jetzt deine papiere, bitte! Schnell!!"

>From a human perspective, it is easy to understand the reluctance to face these numbers. It is hard to avoid the conclusion that millions of people have been deprived of their freedom, and millions of children have had their education gravely damaged, for little demonstrable gain. Who wants to admit that they were complicit in this?

Excellent point, and this is a big reason for the lingering restrictions in many countries.

Sweden, Denmark, etc. prove that you can just ignore Covid, drop masks, etc. and nothing bad happens. The whole thing is a fluke and they can’t admit they messed up and ruined lives, jobs, and businesses for nothing, because then people would be calling for their heads.
