How does this compare to modal (modal.com)? Faster cold-start? Easier config? Asking because I've used modal quite a bit for everything from fine-tuning LLMs to running etl pipelines and it works well for me, and I haven't found any real competitors for them to even think of switching.
Yeah most definitely. Literally, me and all the founders I know have this constant struggle. While its a small sample size I would still have estimated it to be upwards of 80%
So I guess they're building their own index, just like Brave, Perplexity, Exa, and others. A much smaller arms race that seems to be going under the radar of most folks.
